This meat smoker was very simple to build and didn’t require any welding. According to NMSUbanwagon it was kind of hard to find anything on YouTube that had anything about building a smoker without building a smoke box so he used an old grill that he mounted to the bottom of a Weber and he put clips onto the Weber to hold the firebox. In the video, he is giving the basics of what he did and expresses hope that it’s helpful. It seemed pretty easy to do and very inexpensive. He attached with screws using existing holes, in some cases, and used the vent from the grill from the top of the Weber to regulate the smoke. NMSUbanwagon states that it doesn’t look pretty but it does seal well and work well. If you’ve got some old grills laying around and are looking for an afternoon project, this may just be the ticket.
